Book Jacket, Inside Flap: The top bullet reads, "Never fry foods containing protein", but should read simply: "Never fry foods."
Pages 81 & 82 - In the Meta-type Characteristic Checklist, the Synthesizer and Mixed Synthesizer columns should be exchanged and read in the following order: Tendencies, Accelerator, Balanced Accelerator, Mixed Accelerator, Mixed Synthesizer, Balanced Synthesizer, Synthesizer.
Page 154 - The basic formula for Balanced Accelerator Slimming Tea should not include aloe, as it incorrectly says.
Page 189 - The Skinny-Minnie Regeneration Dinner is in the wrong place, and appears out of context. It should appear at the bottom of page 193.
Page 278 - There are no specific protein powders recommended in the Appendix on Page 421. Many excellent protein powders are available at health food stores.
Changes to the Mixed Synthesizer Weekly Menu:
Page 286 - Soybean curd is a good Weak Alkaline for Mixed Synthesizers and should not be avoided as it incorrectly says in the Legumes column.
Page 287 - In the Slightly Starchy Vegetables column, there should be a Weak Alkaline section with Carrots under it. The Avoid Weak Alkaline section should contain only Rutabagas.
Page 288 -The Nonstarchy Vegetables column should contain a Weak Alkaline section, with Celery, Spinach (raw), Summer squash (cooked), and Leeks. Summer squash (cooked), Leeks, Celery, and Spinach (raw) should be removed from the Avoid Weak Alkaline section. In the Fruit column on the same page, a Weak Alkaline section should be added and include Lemons. Lemons should be removed from the Avoid Weak Alkaline Section.
Page 298 - The salmon, tuna, and chicken breast should be under the Meat and Fish column appearing on the left hand side.
Other Changes:
Page 413 - The Fat-Buster Tonic recipe should include 1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper, not 1/2. The recipe should also include the following recommendation, "It is suggested that you start with a "pinch" of cayenne pepper and "work your way up" to the 1/8 tsp over a period of several weeks. Ginger may also be substituted for the cayenne pepper.
Page 482 - The description for the Carbohydrates: Nonstarchy-Vegetables chart beginning on this page should read, "Combine with starchy and slightly starchy vegetables, fats, oils, grains, and proteins."
